PART I: Let’s Talk: Back to School, September  2023

Let’s Talk: Back to School was the first of our four part Let’s Talk webinar series where speakers provided an overview of Medi-Cal dental coverage and dental resources. We also discussed how to stay enrolled with Medi-Cal, when to renew, why renewing Medi-Cal is vital for children in California, and how to get help. Lastly, we discussed the key 2023-24 CA budget investments that support the health and well-being of children and families in health, immigration, economic stability, and food access.

If you weren’t able to tune in, it’s not too late! You can still benefit from the wealth of resources and information we shared!

PART II: Let’s Talk: School Safety, October 2023

Join The Children’s Partnership and our partners at the Hope and Heal Fund on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 5:00 p.m. for our Let’s Talk: School Safety webinar. We have heard families across California express concerns about their children’s safety and well-being in schools. Safety in schools means the protection of all children from violence, exposure to weapons and threats, theft, bullying and harassment, the sale or use of illegal substances on school grounds, and other emergencies. This webinar will engage parents, families and community members in a discussion on school safety as it relates to gun violence. We will discuss gun violence and its impact in our communities, its connection to school safety, and what families can do to stay safe.
